This build has been around for a while...long enough to have inspired my own little project when the time comes.

I’ve had a T4 Transporter Dual Cab Chassis since it was new and there’s not quite the same body fabrication required to put a Boxt er engine and transaxle in the back end that there is in a van!

I especially like the placement of the shifter.

And I thought the Subie swaps were beefy, well I would still go with an STI motor, Parsh maintenance is prohibitive. My friend can’t drive his 911 very often because of it!

Where's Sabine Schmitz when you need her?

Reminds me of the Eurovans that the Porsche Driving Experience uses at Barber Motorsporta Park to give their students group lessons before turning them loose. Except I think those are bone stock. This would be a serious contender.

Very sexy. I’ll bet it’s a riot to drive.

And now I’m back to CL to look for another 90s Voyager to build another motor for.

Thanks./s

I’ve been driving vans for work for 21 years so I’m used to them. Have had a few minivans and they get a bad rap...but you don’t get better utility for regular family use than you do a minivan. Even a Transit Connect cargo can carry a 4x8 sheet. That’s what I currently use for work.

But fast, cool looking vans like this are a special breed of awesome.

Miss Mercedes has her smart Car Emporium, so it's time you have your own Voyager Emporium!

Quite a common place for manual shifters in 21st century vans...
